Boscoseal PU is a one-part ready to use coal tar free bitumen modified, moisture curing polyurethane membrane. After curing it provides a tough highly elastomeric, impervious barrier to moisture. Suitable for application by brush, roller or towel.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE :
Boscoseal PU can be applied by brush, roller, towel or squeeze.
• Seal all cracks or joints up to 2mm in width with Bostik Seal N’ Flex 1 and Seal before application of the membrane.
• Boscoseal PU can be applied immediately over Seal N’ Flex 1 after initial set of approximately 6 hours at 25°C.
• Boscoseal PU should be applied to achieve a dry film thickness of 1.5mm minimum for optimum performance. To achieve this dry film thickness apply Boscoseal PU at 1.1m•/litre/coat.
• Extremely porous surfaces should be filled prior to coating and a second coat of Boscoseal PU should be applied or use Boscoprime 1.
• Apply Boscoseal PU evenly to avoid thin spots, air entrapment or pin holes. Any defects can be repaired by over coating with Boscoseal PU.
• For applications where two coats of Boscoseal PU are required allow 24 hours between coats.
• Protection boards must be used to protect the membrane before back filling or concreting.
• If Boscoseal PU is damaged, it can be repaired by cleaning the surface and recoating with Boscoseal PU.
