MAPEFIX EP 385/585
Epoxy resin-based anchoring composition for structural loads. MAPEFIX EP 385 and MAPEFIX EP 585 are adhesives for chemical anchoring of metal elements in various types of bases used in construction. MAPEFIX EP 385/585 is an epoxy resin-based, solvent-free, two-component product. The product is available in 385 ml and 585 ml cartridges. The product is specially developed for the transmission of structural load for anchoring metal and galvanized metal threaded and profiled fasteners in uncracked bases, such as concrete, lightweight concrete, stone, wood, as well as compact masonry. Also suitable for anchoring in stretched and compressed zones in cracked and uncracked concrete structures, including places where there is a risk of seismic activity. Ideal for anchoring close to the edges of the structure, or when there is a small gap between the anchoring points, as compared to conventional mechanical anchors, it does not create tension in the structure. Thanks to the special epoxy resin formula, the composition has an extended development time (see table 1), which is especially important when working in high temperature conditions and in situations where the load is not independent. MAPEFIX EP 385 and MAPEFIX EP 585 are suitable for fastening all types of anchors in horizontal, vertical, inclined positions and in ceilings - stretched and compressed areas exposed to static, dynamic and seismic stresses. MAPEFIX EP 385 and MAPEFIX EP 585 are also suitable for creating anchors that are in constant contact with water - chemically aggressive marine and industrial environments. The application temperature of the product is from +5°C to +40 o C. It is also suitable for application in moist or wet substrates, as well as in wells that are filled with water. MAPEFIX EP 385 and MAPEFIX EP 585 can be installed in smooth and rough holes of different diameters made using a crown drill or impact drill. MAPEFIX EP 385 and MAPEFIX EP 585 can be used: - for fixing reinforcement in structural seams; - for anchoring in places that will be in constant contact with water or moisture during operation; - for anchoring under water; - for anchoring in the coastal industrial environment; - for anchoring cranes and tram tracks; - for anchoring various equipment; - for fixing antennas and signs; - for fixing pylons; - for strengthening security barriers.
