The main strategies of the project is to open up the spaces of the existing layout. Instead of adding more spaces, we offer the client to free up the space. We added the additional strenght of the existing beam to allow it to carry a larger span of opening to connect the internal spaces to the landscape. We also introduces a openable screen to the facade to allow the owner to open up the opening to the front, but still maintain the privacy from the opposite neighbour. We added a hanging garden on top the the existing carporch as an additional space for the owner to enjoy the landscape.
