For this project, we renovated the existing coffee shop. As the Java Bean Coffee has its own brand guidelines, we rearticulated the use of existing space and furniture to fit into the brand. The modern Javanese style was a challenge, because we had to make a perfect balance between traditional aspects and modern details. The use of solid wood and bamboo woven material on bars bring out a warm feeling to the space. To emphasize the modern style, we also place casual benches for visitors to sit and enjoy their cup of coffee.
