It is made with flame retardant additives, which passes class 1 flame test standards, thereby giving the product very good fire retardant properties. It has a closed cell feature making it moisture resistant. It can be thermo formed and can be made into pipe insulation. Aside from insulation, it has other applications, such as: padding, flotation, space filling, cushioning, anti-vibration and noise dampening.
