This striking cladding features slender, high ribs and broad, flat pans that make a dramatic statement on any structure. Using a concealed fixing system to maintain its clean lines, LYSAGHT LONGLINE® cladding can be tapered for a fan-like effect where curvilinear roofs require a tailored cladding solution.
Material Specification:
* Next generation ZINCALUME® aluminium/zinc/ magnesium alloy coated steel complies with AS1397:2011 G550, AM125 (550 MPa minimum yield stress, 125 g/m2 minimum coating mass).
* COLORBOND® steel is prepainted steel for exterior roofing and walling. It is the most widely used. The painting complies with AS/NZS 2728:2013 and the steel base is an aluminium/zinc alloy-coated steel complying with AS 1397:2011. Minimum yield strengths are G550 (550MPa), or G300 (300MPa) depending on profile. Minimum coating mass is AM100 (100g/m2).
* COLORBOND® Metallic steel is prepainted steel for superior aesthetic qualities displaying a metallic sheen.
* COLORBOND® Ultra steel is prepainted steel for severe coastal or industrial environments (generally within about 100-200 metres of the source). The painting complies with AS/NZS 2728:2013 and the steel base is an aluminium/ zinc alloy-coated steel complying with AS 1397:2011. Minimum coating mass is AM150 (150g/m2).
* SuperDura™ Stainless steel is pre-painted steel and is used for severe and coastal environments. The painting complies with AS/NZS 2728:2013 and the steel base is a stainless steel complying with AISI/ASTM Type 430; UNS No. S43000.
* As LONGLINE 305® has a flat pan finish with no flutes, the material can exhibit signs of oil canning. This can exist for all COLORBOND® steel colours but is potentially more visible in the darker COLORBOND® steel colours in the range. This can be seen in the finish of the product so designers need to make a professional judgement in its suitability for the application. Oil canning is not a structural defect simply an aesthetic issue. Please consult with the Lysaght technical enquiries team for advice.
