The Solahart LCSD Series is a roof mounted, open circuit system, designed to provide higher efficiency for use in low to medium solar gain areas.
The LCS collector’s absorber plate is coated with the Mirotherm® sputtered selective surface. The Mirotherm absorption and anti-reflection layers provide high solar absorption. An infrared reflecting layer ensures low thermal emission, making the most of the available solar radiation.
An open circuit solar hot water system has a collector circuit which is directly connected to the potable water in the solar storage tank. Potable water from the solar storage tank circulates through and collects heat gained by the solar collectors and then circulates back into the solar storage tank.
The 302LCSD Series has a ceramic lined tank with a protective anode. The 302LCSD Free Heat offers an extended warranty and features additional protection. The tank is equipped with an electric booster, alternatively an in-line gas booster is available.
