Dirasa Noodles & Coffee Highlights Colour and Form to Elevate Dining Experience
The dining culture has continuously evolved following the habits of people as society. Dining spaces take increasingly diverse forms, from casual cafe, family restaurants, even unique fusions of cafe-restaurants.
As many new trends emerge in times of social media, many dining establishments go beyond a place for eating out. They are now providing spaces for socializing, hanging out, co-working, and even spending leisure time alone. Each space gives a different dining experience, determined by the ambience formed through its spatial design.

In one of the buzzy spot of West Jakarta, Dirasa Noodles & Coffee reinterprets the familiar atmosphere of a kopitiam through a contemporary, graphic lens. Housed in a linear townhouse volume, the design of Dirasa responds to its rigid proportions with fluid, noodle-inspired forms, introducing softness and movement throughout the space.

The brand's red and blue identity is integrated directly into the interior design, appearing in tiled walls, custom furniture, and graphic elements. Such combination creates a bold, yet cohesive visual language.

The curved communal tables become the social core of the cafe, accommodating both dining and casual working adequately. The overall design of Dirasa reflects the evolving habits of urban cafe culture.

Balancing retro design references with clean detailing, Dirasa reels nostalgic without being literal. Dirasa provides a playful, everyday space where colours, forms, and functions come together to elevate the simple ritual of eating noodles and enjoying coffee.
