BUDI INDAH House

This is the interior design of a house in north Bandung ( kompleks Budi Indah ) Indonesia. The task was to give industrial tone, homy, and functional to the house. The majority of semi private rooms at the house is an exposed red brick background. They are in the livingroom, pantry, diningroom, and study room. The masterbedroom is more clean.
The Woodwork gave homy, natural, and lively feeling to the house. The recycle solid teakwood was made by craftman in YOgyakarta, Indonesia. THe finishing was made clear to expose the natural wood textures.
The Floor are from exposed concrete with floor hardeneer combined with bronze iron for the finishing line to prevent crack. Some rooms was made with extra mezzanine structure to counter the building heights. With this strategy there are extra space that make the room more spacious.
The overall material for this house is exposed brick, parquette floorong, and solid recycle teakwood for the furniture. Some of the furniture was from the old house, but most are from Bali, Jakarta, and Yogyakarta, Indonesia
