Bentonite joint waterstop with patented rain protection coating
A universally applicable bentonite joint waterstop. Used for the waterproofing of construction joints being subject to ground, slope and surface water, permanently or temporarily. The necessary construction joints can be worked out frictionally and pressure water tight up to 7 bar. The use in water interchange areas is possible without any problems at all.
Properties:
- Generally approved for use in construction
- Quick and strong swelling after the rain protection has dissolved
- Installation independent from weather conditions as the patented specialised coating avoids early swelling efficiency
- Self-injecting effect by penetration into cracks and cavities
- Swelling process is endlessly reversible
- Extremely high, form stability, will not become sticky in summer at high temperatures
- High anorganic contents, therefore no material fatigue
- Positive support of the self-healing effect in the construction joint due to special admixtures
