Bluestone is a basalt; a volcanic rock that has formed and hardened over millions of years. It offers a natural palette of grey, blue and charcoal tones.
CAT PAW: These are naturally occurring holes in Bluestone and are not a defect. They range from small circles to long strips. The cat paw can be filled in with grout during the installation process to enable the feature to still be visable but without the chance of dirt etc getting trapped in the holes. NOTE: The cat paw is generally on surface layer and does not penetrate right through to the other side of the paver.
This stone variety is part of our standard stock.
