PFL Surface Conditioner is applied to concrete surfaces sealed with PFL Glaze or PFL Satin sealer to condition or ‘prime’ the surface for re-sealing. This specially formulated acrylic solution has a low solids content for increased penetrants, and a slow drying carrier to maximise reaction time on the surface. Treatment with PFL Surface Conditioner will significantly improve adhesion of the new sealer, prolonging sealer life, and improving sealer performance.
Characteristics: Increased penetration and prolonged surface interaction conditions the concrete for re-sealing.
Limitations:
- Not a sealer – sealer must be applied over PFL Surface Conditioner
- Will not repair damaged sealer
- Sealer will not adhere to smooth stone surfaces – test areas must be conducted on ground or exposed aggregate to ensure adhesion, particularly on trafficable surfaces.
- Does not act as a filler – cracks and defects must be repaired prior to application.
