In this design, the Pati Regency government wants an iconic monument as a city landmark that can represent Pati's identity. Where in the design shows the change of Pati from a city known as a pure agricultural city that has evolved into an industrial city, and dispels the notion that Pati is just a retirement town. So that in the future it will make Pati a more attractive area for investors to invest.
Of the various potentials possessed by Pati, milkfish was chosen to be an iconic object in this design because in addition to representing the wealth of the sea, the characteristics of milkfish that are known to be agile and dynamic are in line with the mission that shows that in the future Pati can be a dynamic city in both agriculture and modern industry
The concepts that exist in each part of this milkfish include:
Body - The arrangement of triangular geometric shapes of various sizes is an application of elements of modernity and contemporary
Fish scale - Made from aluminium panels that moved by the wind, symbolize dynamic and progressive
Moving gears - Symbolize of transformation from pure agriculture into industrial
Use of Materials
Aluminium symbolizes the industrialization process in Pati
Brass symbolizes the richness of brass crafting in Pati
The design of this monument is not limited to the placement of milkfish statues in the selected area as city landmark icon, it also includes the processing of the entire site area itself
The site area is processed into Green Space in the form of a passive park. The concept used in its processing is a combination of the natural potential of Pati and modernity
The orientation of the landscape which is circular and stepped are depiction of terracing as a symbol of effort and creativity to innovate to reach the top place
Placement of the fountain at the top point is a symbol of the spring that flows down
On the east side, there is a trapezoid-shaped mass composition which is an implementation of Mount Muria as one of the tourism potentials of Pati Regency. This "mountain" is also the basis for placing the PATI writing which shows the city's identity
