FireCrunch K-Wall 12 mm Passive Fire Cladding
Non-combustible, BAL-FZ compliant MgSO₄ composite cladding engineered for high-performance façade applications.
Delivers a refined timber-look profile with superior fire, impact, moisture, and termite resistance.
Low-carbon, carbon-capture (CCS) formulation supporting environmentally responsible architectural specification.
Stronger and thicker than conventional 7.5 mm fibre-cement panels for enhanced durability and system longevity.
K-Wall is a technologically advanced MgSO₄ composite cladding system designed for both interior and exterior applications where fire performance, resilience, and architectural finish quality are paramount. Manufactured as a 12 mm grooved weatherboard panel (2700 × 1000 × 12 mm), the board can be installed horizontally or vertically, enabling contemporary timber-appearance façades without the fire risk, maintenance load, or environmental impact associated with natural timber products.
Certified non-combustible to AS 1530.1, K-Wall provides 90 minutes of fire resistance with a single 10 mm layer (AS 1530.4) and remains stable beyond 800 °C, where traditional CFC sheets may fail. Independent NATA/CSIRO testing confirms compliance with AS 1530.8.2, AS 3959 (BAL-FZ), and relevant NCC performance requirements. Acoustic performance is verified to Rw 62, and the product is fully non-asbestos in accordance with AS 4964 and AS 717.
K-Wall is engineered for long-term durability—resistant to rot, moisture, impact, mould, and termite attack. When correctly sealed, it withstands severe weathering and flood conditions without degradation, making it an ideal solution for bushfire-prone, high-moisture, or high-performance construction environments.
Its carbon-capture magnesia formulation achieves exceptionally low embodied carbon: produced at approximately half the kiln temperature of CFC alternatives and reabsorbing up to 90% of its CO₂ output during curing, resulting in an almost carbon-neutral manufacturing profile. As a result, K-Wall provides architects with a high-integrity façade solution that aligns with both performance and sustainability objectives.
