K-FIRE 19 TG19 SL4 Shaft Liner Party Wall System
Engineered for architectural applications requiring high fire performance and streamlined installation, the K-FIRE 19 TG19 SL4 system delivers compliant FRL 60/60/60 and 90/90/90 solutions in both loadbearing and non-loadbearing configurations.
Achieves an FRL rating of 90/90/90, with a 60-minute rating for timber framing and 90-minute rating for steel framing.
Its 19 mm high-density, four-sided tongue-and-groove shaft-liner panels enable rapid construction without H-studs, J-track or U-track, reducing labour, material use and onsite coordination.
Acoustic performance reaches Rw 62 / Ctr 52 (APS certified), supported by Registered Fire Engineering Assessment and NATA-accredited testing to AS 1530.4:2014–2029.
Designed to work with a single 10 mm external cladding sheet per side—standard plasterboard or K-Clad TE10—the system provides a cost-effective, specification-ready alternative to CSR, Boral, Knauf and Hebel.
Full Product Description
The K-FIRE 19 TG19 SL4 system is a next-generation double-stud party wall and shaft-liner solution compatible with 70 × 45 mm timber or 92 × 45 mm steel framing. Its 2700 × 600 mm 19 mm tongue-and-groove panels provide structural stability and high fire resistance while simplifying detailing at junctions and interfaces. The system incorporates R2.0–R2.5 glass-wool cavity batts to achieve its certified acoustic ratings and enhanced thermal efficiency.
Installation is accelerated through the use of pre-drilled aluminium fast-fix brackets, eliminating traditional shaft-liner tracks and reducing dependency on proprietary metal profiles. The result is a robust fire-separation wall with significantly lower labour inputs and reduced material waste.
Applications
K-FIRE 19 is suitable for a wide range of fire-separation and intertenancy conditions, including:
• Shaft-liner firewalls
• Common party walls
• Semi-detached and duplex firewalls
• Intertenancy and zero-lot-line walls
K-SOUND – Single-Frame Fire & Acoustic Wall System
For applications requiring a compact single-frame assembly, the K-SOUND wall system offers FRL …/60/60 and 90/90/90 options using 92 × 45 mm timber or 1.15 BMT C-section steel framing. Acoustic rating achieves Rw 50, supported by NATA CSIRO testing to AS 1530.4:2014–2029. The system is clad with 10 mm K-Clad TE panels on both sides, delivering integrated fire, acoustic and impact-resistant performance within a minimal wall thickness.
