High-performance deformable cementitious adhesive with no vertical slip and extended open time for ceramic tiles, particularly recommended for laying large porcelain and natural stone tiles. Keraflex Maxi S1 is a grey or white powder composed of cement and fine graded sands. It contains a high quantity of synthetic resins and special additives. Some of its significant features include:
- Low viscosity, easily workable.
- Perfect adhesion to all materials.
- Low emission level of VOC.
- Highly thixotropic.
- Hardens without appreciable shrinkage.
- Good capability to accommodate the different deformation of the covering from the substrate.
- Extended open time.
- Solvent resistant.
Application
For interior and exterior bonding up to 15 mm thick on floors of ceramic tiles of every type and size (single and double fired tiles, porcelain tiles, klinker, terracotta, etc.) on uneven substrates and renders, without having to level the flooring beforehand. Bonding of stone and agglomerate materials (provided that they are classified as stable and not irreversibly sensitive to moisture).
Also suitable for spot bonding of insulating materials such as expanded polystyrene, rock and glass wool, Eraclit® (wood-cement panels), sound-deadening or reduction panels, cork, etc.
Can be used with Primer G or Mapeprim SP on gypsum or anhydrite substrates.
