Artisanal Ingenuity, Bionic Architectural Masterpiece
— Marisfrolg Industrial Park
(Jiangsu Huajian Construction Co., Ltd.)
The Marisfrolg Industrial Park is located in Longhua District, Shenzhen. Serving as the headquarters of Marisfrolg, a renowned domestic fashion brand, it stands as China’s largest bionic artistic architecture integrating offices, exhibition spaces, leisure zones, commercial facilities and a hotel.

The core design concept of the project derives from the brand’s spiritual essence of "taking flight and thriving". Breaking away from the rigid square layouts of traditional industrial parks, the building features fluid bionic curved surfaces that define its silhouette. The design deliberately blurs the boundary between man-made architecture and natural surroundings. Its curved structures improve natural lighting and ventilation, seamlessly merging artistic aesthetics, industrial functions and ecological landscapes to create an immersive green industrial complex.
A host of innovative practices have been implemented in intelligent construction and sustainable design. During construction, full 3D forward BIM modeling (via SolidWorks), construction robots and 3D printing technologies were deployed to address high-precision construction challenges posed by irregular curved surfaces. For low-carbon performance, the park is equipped with rainwater recycling systems, recycled building materials and vertical ecological greenery. The building’s original organic form cuts energy consumption for air conditioning and lighting, enabling carbon reduction across the entire building lifecycle.
The biggest construction hurdle of this project lay in the absence of comparable reference projects for such bionic curved structures. Its intricate irregular forms created multiple technical gaps in structural calculation, custom component fabrication and coordinated finishing works. The project team spent more than a decade conducting persistent research, repeated process simulations and on-site trials to break through established industry construction norms one by one, ultimately delivering this highly sophisticated artistic landmark.

The Quality Building Award is one of the most prestigious professional architecture awards in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, boasting an extremely rigorous evaluation process. This award fully recognizes the project’s innovative design, green and smart technologies, as well as the team’s integrated construction capabilities. It also sets a practical benchmark for artistic, low-carbon industrial parks across the Greater Bay Area. This honor will inspire us to further advance sustainable and intelligent construction, delivering more high-quality Bay Area architectures that balance aesthetic value and low-carbon benefits.
