From Airport to Sporting Icon How Kai Tak Sports Park Redefined Community Design  Kai Tak Sports Park marks a genuine turning point in how Hong Kong thinks about urban design. It has transformed a 28-hectare site once occupied by the city's old airport into a world-class sporting facility that doubles as a thriving community precinct. 

Artisanal Ingenuity, Bionic Architectural Masterpiece — Marisfrolg Industrial Park （Jiangsu Huajian Construction Co., Ltd.） The Marisfrolg Industrial Park is located in Longhua District, Shenzhen. Serving as the headquarters of Marisfrolg, a renowned domestic fashion brand, it stands as China’s largest bionic artistic architecture integrating offices, exhibition spaces, leisure zones, commercial facilities and a hotel.

China Overseas Headquarters is situated in the central zone of Shenzhen Houhai Headquarters Base. With a total gross floor area of over 61,000 square meters, it functions as the headquarters building of China Overseas Enterprises Development Group Co., Ltd. From the initial project planning stage, the project set the objective of developing “The first 5A-grade zero-carbon office building in Chinese Mainland”. Completed after three years of construction, the building was progressively commissioned in March 2024.

High above the bustle of Caine Road in Mid‑Levels, Hong Kong, FIOworks has transformed a Casa Bella apartment into a calm, contemporary retreat where art functions as the interior’s principal agent and urban living is quietly redefined. Perched above the clubhouse level and overlooking the pool deck and Hong Kong’s skyline, the apartment unusually opens onto a 45‑square‑metre terrace that reads as an extension of the living sequence, offering a rare and expansive outdoor condition in one of the city’s densest districts.

The Recycled Glass Reception Screen at Hang Seng Bank Headquarters in Central, Hong Kong, showcases how circular design can redefine a corporate interior. As part of the extensive renovation of the landmark building, ARTA Architects and collaborators transformed 1,550 kg of glass, salvaged from the demolition of the bank’s former interior, into a signature feature that anchors the main reception.

This residential project establishes a contemporary minimalist framework infused with natural elements and wabi-sabi aesthetics, creating a warm and tactile living environment. Through meticulous analysis of the owner's lifestyle and aesthetic preferences, the designer achieved an organic integration of functional practicality and artistic expression, culminating in a highly personalized quality space.

XLMS has transformed the workplace with its innovative 12,000 sq. ft. office for LOJEL at 83 King Lam Street, Cheung Sha Wan. Established in 1989 by visionary Chih Chang Chiang, LOJEL is celebrated for its high-quality luggage products. This 2024 project adopts an Activity-Based workplace strategy that emphasises diversity and collaboration, featuring expansive multifunctional spaces, meeting rooms, workshops, and vibrant breakout zones designed to attract and retain top talent.

This project in Lam Tin, Hong Kong aims to redefine the concept of space through a pet-oriented design. The space is inhabited by a lady and her beloved pets. We prioritize flexibility as the design principle, while creating a serene and natural ambiance to achieve an optimal living environment for both the owner and her furry companions.

Many people are drawn to village houses for their surrounding greenery. Though this village house in Sai Kung, Hong Kong boasts a nearly 50-year history, its interior was outdated and dilapidated. Still, the couple who owns it was captivated by the natural environment and decided to make it their home. We strategically reimagined the space, incorporating the owners’ favourite colour palette and mid-century vibe, enabling the family to enjoy breathtaking views of the greenery from various angles while fostering intimate family interactions.
