Hubexo Asia Awards 2026 Celebrates Malaysia’s Top 10 Architects and Property Developers

KUALA LUMPUR — The annual Hubexo Asia Awards 2026 (formerly recognized as the prestigious BCI Asia Awards) successfully concluded its Malaysian edition on August 20, 2026, at the Grand Ballroom of the Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur.

The gala event brought together hundreds of industry leaders, urban planners, and design pioneers to celebrate outstanding achievements in the built environment across the region.

Driving Sustainable and Age-Friendly Urbanism

This year’s ceremony focused heavily on sustainable construction, technological integration, and the evolving demographic needs of modern cities. The event was graced by the Minister of Housing and Local Government (KPKT), YB Nga Kor Ming, who served as the Guest of Honour.

In his keynote address, Minister Nga emphasized the critical need for developers and architects to pivot toward sustainable, inclusive, and age-friendly urban spaces. He praised the industry's shift toward green construction methods, noting that regional development must actively match Malaysia's long-term sustainability goals.
