AIA Hong Kong is set to host an engaging symposium that will bridge the architectural insights gained from recent explorations of Southeast Asia with the local community. Over the past three years, AIA Hong Kong members have traveled to Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok, and Manila, immersing themselves in the rich and diverse architectural landscape of the region.

On September 18 and 19, we co-hosted two transformative events: the "Making of Places: Participation for Everyone" seminar and the “Staunton Community Building Workshop”. These events were part of the Agenda 2030 initiative, organized by the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Hong Kong, Neighbourhood Innovation Lab by Architecture Commons , Hong Kong Social Entrepreneurship Forum , and Social Enterprise Summit , with support from the Agenda 2030 Project Fund and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Czechia. Wyndham Social and Habyt served as our venue partners.

The countdown to creativity has culminated in a resounding success as FIND – Design Fair Asia wrapped up its highly anticipated event at Marina Bay Sands from September 11 to 13. The submission period for the prestigious 2025 AIA Hong Kong Honors & Awards is closing soon on August 29, 2025. This is a prime opportunity for architects to showcase their work and contribute to a program that celebrates architectural excellence throughout the Asia Pacific region.
