IKEA for Business’s Vision for the Evolving Workspaces: Redefining Post-Pandemic Office Design and the Future of Work

At their first AIA Hong Kong event this year, they had an inspiring visit to the Zao Lab at the Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School Institute of Future Human Habitats on Friday evening. Led by Professor Terrence Curry, AIA, the attendees were welcomed with warmth and a seminar on the ideology of Zao Lab as an embodiment of bodily experiences. AIA Shenzhen representative Chen Xi, AIA, and AIA Hong Kong past president Yimei Chan, AIA, extended their welcome to AIA members from Hong Kong and Shenzhen, as well as various international students, ranging from masters to PhD students.

The Hong Kong Institute of Urban Design is excited to announce the Urban Design Conference 2023, a global event that will be held on 17th November 2023, at the Nina Hotel, Tsuen Wan West,Hong Kong as the focus event of Hong Kong Urban Design Week. The Conference will bring together top experts, researchers, and professionals from around the world to exchange knowledge, foster collaborations, and shape the future of "New Urban Mobility - Healthy Change for the High-Density City".

The AIA Hong Kong Chapter event, held on April 11th, 2024 and sponsored by Steelcase, brought together architects, design professionals, and other experts. Led by Paul Gardner from Fresh Accounting, the event covered various topics, including project-based accounting, fee structure and billing, budgeting and forecasting, technology integration, risk management, talent empowerment, strategic financial planning, and industry realities.
