Vat dyes achieve high light fastness and are very durable to both wet and dry rubbing and hence are extensively used for the upholstery market. Wherever possible, the dyes and chemicals used for printing with vat dyes are predominantly non petro chemical based.
This fabric has been tested to achieve 22,000 rubs, the British Standard for general domestic upholstery is 20,000 rubs, and is suitable for upholstery, drape and soft furnishings.
