scola Secundária Luso-Chinesa de Luís Gonzaga Gomes (ESLCLGG) is a public secondary school in São Lázaro (Saint Lazarus Parish), Macau. The school was named after Luís Gonzaga Gomes and it was established in 1985. Throughout the years, ESLCLGG has been moved to Macao School Complex (now the Macao Polytechnic University) in 1986 and then to the current location of Avenida de Sidónio Pais, Macao, in 1995. The school continued to develop that two new school buildings were built on both sides of the original main building in 2003.
The latest optimisation project focused in the pre-school premises of the school complex. With the expertise of our design team, the lighting design provided stood out from the crowd and finally got selected by our customer. Zumtobel ONDARIA Ø870 was proposed to meet the new EN12464 standard for classroom application. Thorn Aquaforce with powerful wide beam diffused light distribution was also a great solution provided for the main hall instead of using floodlight.
ESLC is a Cantonese-medium school, and the Macau government uses ESLC to test adjustments to the Macau secondary school curriculum. While most Macau private schools have English classes as the primary foreign language instruction, ESLC instead has Portuguese as its main foreign language.
