Official Launch of BEAM Plus Existing Buildings Version 3.0

BEAM Plus Existing Buildings Version 3.0 The BEAM Plus Existing Buildings Version 3.0 was officially launched on 7 July in the ceremony held at the Sky Lobby of the International Commerce Centre (ICC) in Kowloon.

Jointly Organised with the BEAM Society Limited (BSL) and the Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC), the occasion saw the presence of over 200 industry leaders and experts, both in person and online, who gathered to celebrate the introduction of the upgraded tool and express their support for the green development of the city’s existing buildings towards net-zero emissions by 2050.

Ms Bernadette LINN Hon-ho, JP, Secretary for Development, officiated Launch Ceremony together with Mr Nicholas HO Lik-chi, Commissioner for Belt and Road, Mr Vincent CHOW Hau-keung, JP, Acting Director of Electrical and Mechanical Services, Sr Frankie SO Hung Fai, Chairperson of BSL, and Dr CHEUNG Tin-cheung, SBS, Chairman of HKGBC.
