- On mild steel, bright/semi bright steel, black steel and blue steel
- On galvanised steel, stainless steel, zincalume and non ferrous metals
- Over other DGL powder coatings as a protective clear layer
- In mild exterior conditions
- In general and moderate interior conditions
- In environments greater than 100m from the high tide mark
