Semi – Storage Calorifier is a patent product of IES that is revolutionised from the traditional U-Tube Calorifier and Spiral-Coil Calorifier.
Semi-Storage Calorifiers are designed to use in environments of high-peak hot water demand but of limited plant room space. The principle is to equip it with a built-in circulation pump for ensuring a constant flow rate through the stainless steel heat exchanger and into the storage tank.
Each unit incorporates a buffer vessel and combines a packaged plate heat exchanger together with a circulation pump and isolation valve. The unt can also be equipped with a tail-on range of semi-storage calorifier with varying capacities and heat exchanger power ratings.
