Specialist under-metal roofing insulation
Earthwool Metal Roofing rolls are designed for quick and efficient installation in both single-skin and double-skin profiled metal roof systems, including standing seam and bracketed rail constructions. Each roll is manufactured at 1,200 mm width to suit common purlin spans and support systems. The insulation is typically laid over or between purlins, and supported by roof sheeting, metal mesh, or spacer systems depending on the roof design.
Earthwool is soft, low-dust composition—enabled by ECOSE® Technology—makes it lightweight and easy to handle, improving installer comfort and productivity. TwinTech® Technology delivers a smooth finish and improved handling during placement and alignment. Once installed, Earthwool insulation contributes to excellent thermal and acoustic performance, while its non-combustible and moisture-resistant properties support long-term durability, safety, and energy efficiency under metal cladding systems.
The foil facing with 97% reflective Aluminium foil, and reinforced by fire-resistant glass scrim enhances visibility by reflecting visible light, making it an ideal product for environments where optimal levels of internal lighting are required.
Earthwool’s product with foil-facing lamination provides enhanced thermal and moisture management for metal roofing applications. The non-perforated foil facing acts as an effective vapor barrier, when taped and detailed correctly the product will prevent the passage of moisture into the insulation, thereby reducing the risk of condensation. This feature helps to maintain optimal indoor comfort by controlling both heat transfer and moisture infiltration.
