About Arkitek Zamryz

ARKITEK ZAMRYZ [AZ] is a full service architecture and design studio based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia established in 2009. It is directed by Ar. Zamry Zakaria, Arif Razali and Mohd Foudzi, with Rizal Ujang joining in 2013. The firm is also joined with outstanding collaborating partners and reinforced by several inhouse architect-contractor. Arkitek Zamryz is deeply committed to design solutions which are based on specific research. Our works include master planning projects, with emphasis on the issues of tropical urbanism, searching for alternative planning and design approaches and strategies for the steamy cities of the tropical countries, and also architectural projects with emphasis on specificity of design solutions. We gather diverse and unique talents into design teams with experiences in urban planning and design, architecture, landscape, product design, interiors, graphic design and construction, integrating many branches of design expertise into a workable and pleasurable designed conditions. The studio’s projects have a clear vision of our client’s goals, aspirations and challenges in order to help maximize their potential. Arkitek Zamryz works locally and internationally, focusing on design that is sympathetic to culture, environment, financial and programmatic requirements. These combined knowledge and experience informs the design process at Arkitek Zamryz, allowing teams to collaborate across scales on all projects whether within the studio or in partnership with external consultants.
