After what felt like the longest wet season in recent memory, the sun finally shone on a dedicated group of volunteers, including six Ambius champions, who journeyed to the heart of the Daintree Rainforest for a truly special cause.
For the fourth year in a row, Ambius, a leader in creating vibrant and healthy indoor spaces, continued its incredible partnership with Rainforest Rescue, an organization dedicated to restoring and protecting Australia's precious rainforests.
This year's trip was particularly significant, marking Rainforest Rescue's 25th anniversary of preserving this ancient ecological wonder. Our Ambius winners, who earned this incredible opportunity through their outstanding performance, traveled from across Australia to participate in this impactful experience. Joining the effort were:

These dedicated individuals traded their usual work environments for boots and gloves, eager to contribute to the restoration of The Daintree. And what an impact they made!
Despite the soggy conditions (a testament to the extended wet season!), the team, alongside 135 other passionate volunteers, planted over 2,500 seedlings. Ambius proudly funded 1,200 of these future rainforest giants, further solidifying our commitment to environmental sustainability. This year's planting focused on species that thrive in wetland environments, a strategic choice given the natural lowland slope of the restoration site.
A Legacy of Growth
This year's efforts add to an incredible legacy. Over the past four years, Ambius has funded a total of 4,800 seedlings, helping to restore 7,200 square meters of the Daintree across 8 different properties. Together with Rainforest Rescue and their dedicated volunteers, we've contributed to the planting of 21,866 trees and the restoration of 25,600 square meters of this irreplaceable ecosystem.

Daintree vision 2040 – is to buy back all remaining threatened rainforest properties in The Daintree! We can all play a part in achieving this goal, however big or small our contribution.
Rainforest Rescue provides various ways in which everyone can take part and support;
