Warehouse projects require materials that perform reliably across large surface areas while withstanding ongoing environmental exposure. Aluminium panel systems are well suited to these conditions, offering a balance of durability, low maintenance and installation efficiency. Their lightweight nature reduces structural demand, while high-performance coatings provide long-term resistance to UV exposure and weathering.
The recent completion of 158 Canterbury Road in Bayswater reflects a shift in warehouse and industrial design, where material selection plays a greater role in both performance and visual outcomes. This project incorporates 2300m² of AODELI Non-Combustible Panels (NCP), installed by True Line Cladding, an exterior façade that meets compliance requirements while maintaining a clean, consistent finish across large elevations.
Prefinished aluminium panels were selected to support efficient project delivery. Manufactured under controlled conditions, aluminium panels such as AODELI’s NCP and SAP (Solid Aluminium Panels) arrive on site ready to install, removing the need for secondary finishing stages. This simplifies sequencing and reduces on-site dependencies, which is particularly beneficial on large-scale industrial builds.
Consistency in panel production and coating quality contribute to installation accuracy. On large façades, even minor variations can become highly visible, making uniformity a critical consideration. The use of prefinished systems helps ensure alignment and finish quality are maintained throughout the build.

An additional advantage of aluminium cladding systems is the ability to customise finishes to align with corporate identity requirements. For warehouse and commercial developments, where branding and visibility are key considerations, tailored colour selections and finish options allow façades to respond to specifications without compromising performance.
The Bayswater project shows how these principles can be effectively applied in practice. Through the integration of compliant cladding and a considered façade design, the warehouse buildings achieve a outcome that responds to both functional and architectural requirements. It also highlights the importance of coordination between supplier, contractor and builder in delivering quality at scale.
