AODELI’s Mirror Aluminium Panels (MAP) were selected for the new Kindergarten Centre at the International Grammar School in Sydney—designed by acclaimed architects BVN and built by leading construction company Intrec. Spanning Levels 1 and 2 of the Wright Building, this contemporary addition delivers a vibrant and safe learning environment for Kindergarten and Year 1 pupils.
Chosen for both their aesthetic appeal and functional performance, AODELI’s MAP panels enhance the architectural vision with a highly reflective finish that introduces more light into the interior spaces—creating a sense of openness and warmth ideal for young learners. The mirror effect also adds a playful visual dimension that supports sensory engagement, curiosity and interaction, all vital components of early childhood development.
In addition to their visual impact, the MAP panels are durable, fire compliant and low maintenance, making them a smart choice for educational environments. Unlike traditional mirrored aluminium panels, AODELI’s MAP provided the same brilliance without the risk of shattering—ensuring both safety and longevity.
The result is a sleek, modern finish that perfectly complements BVN’s architectural intent, while meeting the practical demands of a school setting. The reflective surfaces animate the interior and enrich the learning atmosphere with a sense of light, movement and energy.
