Big changes are afoot at Blum’s combined showroom and warehouse in Avondale. By creating a bigger, brighter showroom space, the company can now offer even more facilities for designers and clients.
Here are some of highlights you can look forward to:
A premium kitchen to explore.
There’s nothing quite like seeing the latest trends in European design, integrated into a full-scale kitchen you can see, touch and walk through.
The new Blum kitchen is located in the centre of the showroom, with full-length windows looking out across the harbour. As well as providing more room and making the most of the natural light, the new space adds a sense of drama to the experience.
Why does this matter, given that clients won’t be buying the actual kitchen? Well, there’s a lot to be said for placing design solutions in an inspirational space. Architects and cabinetmakers will be able to bring their clients to Blum, knowing that their ideas will be brought to life in a high-quality setting.
Showcasing the latest European products.
The new Blum showroom provides more space for innovative ranges that demonstrate what’s possible for your project. For example, the EXPANDO T fixing system allows brackets to be fixed directly to a variety of thin materials, such as metal and engineered stone. This enables designers to specify drawer fronts that match a waterfall benchtop, with no need for glue or MDF.
You’ll also be able to see the latest AVENTOS top lift systems – including stylish HF asymmetric designs where the top panel is smaller than the bottom panel, or the large glass fronted HKi, which showcases your finest crockery.
These are just a few of the revelations. There are many more in store.
Long black, flat white or cappuccino?
There’s also the return of an old favourite – the Blum espresso station. This had to be stowed away during the renovations, but now Blum are pleased to announce the return of complimentary café-style coffees for all visitors.
It’s a great way to relax while you review plans and explore the many Blum motion technologies and box systems on display.
Make a date to visit.
Now the Auckland fit-out is complete, you’re welcome take advantage of the enhanced facilities. And if you’d like some specialist technical input into your design ideas, you can make an appointment with an Auckland-based Specification or Showroom Consultant.
