This year’s theme,“Stories of the City,” celebrates the rich narratives embedded in our built environment—from heritage restorations to cutting-edge sustainable design.

1 Hotel & Homes Melbourne – Adaptive Reuse of Goods Shed No. 5

This transformative development by Riverlee breathes new life into the heritage-listed Goods Shed No. 5, now home to Australia’s first 1 Hotel. The project is a masterclass in adaptive reuse and sustainable design, featuring over 7,000 plants, 4,500 sqm of recycled timber, and 2,000 salvaged heritage items

555 Collins Street
Designed with a human-centric philosophy, 555 Collins Street is a next-generation workplace that prioritises wellness, flexibility, and sustainability. The building integrates green spaces and biophilic design elements to enhance the daily experience of its occupants. Fytogreen’s contribution helps elevate this commercial tower into a work-life destination that supports both productivity and well-being
500 Bourke Street – Retrofit Building Tour
Originally built in 1977, 500 Bourke Street has undergone a holistic retrofit led by FK and ISPT, transforming it into a carbon-neutral operational workplace
The redesign respects the building’s architectural heritage while introducing world-class amenities and green interventions. Fytogreen’s green infrastructure is part of the building’s commitment to helping to create a vibrant, sustainable environment for a new generation of tenants.
