Green Facade Project at Oxford Street, Epping NSW – 

Project Summary:
The Oxford Street development in Epping, New South Wales, is a leading example of sustainable urban design and green infrastructure in high-density residential architecture. Completed in August 2018, this project integrates durable LLDPE planter boxes and a carefully curated plant palette to create a visually striking and environmentally beneficial green facade.

Fytogreen Features:

• Planter System: 24 custom-engineered LLDPE planter boxes installed across east and west-facing balconies.
• Facade Wire:  8 x Stainless Steel cabling, approximately 18m supplied by Tensile Design and Construct
• Plant Selection: 120 plants from four resilient species, chosen for their adaptability to urban microclimates.

Sustainability & Performance:
The planter boxes are made from UV-stabilized, weather-resistant LLDPE, ensuring long-term durability and minimal maintenance. Since installation, Fytogreen has provided continuous professional maintenance, ensuring optimal plant health and system performance. The image shown, taken in 2025, highlights the system’s resilience and aesthetic appeal seven years post-installation.
