As part of Karndean Evolve®, by 2030, Karndean Designflooring has committed to reducing its direct greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1 and 2) by 42% from a 2022 baseline. This target covers emissions generated through our operations, manufacturing processes, and energy consumption.
In addition, we are working to cut emissions associated with the end-of-life treatment of our products by 51.6% per square meter sold. This goal reflects our commitment to smarter design, circular thinking, and continuous investment in sustainable solutions across our product lifecycle.
We’re also actively engaging our supply chain in this journey. By 2028, 62% of our suppliers, measured by emissions, will have their own science-based targets in place. This ensures that every project specified with Karndean contributes to a broader, low-carbon value chain.
