How to lay turf: A Step-by-Step Guide

Transforming your yard with fresh turf is an exciting project, but proper preparation and installation are key to long-term success. Follow this step-by-step guide to ensure a lush, healthy lawn.

Step 1: Plan Your Yard

Turf should always be laid last in your landscaping project to avoid damage from foot traffic. Ensure the area is suitable by considering factors like shade, mowing ease, and water access.

Key Considerations:

• Drainage: Prevent water from pooling on your lawn or flowing toward buildings.
• Timing Your Order: Turf is perishable and should be laid immediately upon delivery.
