Context

A selection of Drape Concrete and Flinders Timber furniture items were incorporated into the recent Byron Bay Bus Interchange Access Upgrade.

Considerations

The DesignInc team knew it was important to understand the historic, landscape and cultural stories of the site and weave them into the overall vision for the project, elevating the space from a functional facility to a loved landmark.

The integration of our Drape Concrete + Flinders Timber products assisted in not only the functional facilitation of the new Byron Bay Transport Interchange but also seamlessly fits into the distinctive design solution and historic relevance of the space.

The materials and finishes were used to bring a premium feel to the furniture, which was customised to fit in with the overall design aesthetic of the site.
