Context

For a recent Frasers Property project in Brookhaven, Street + Garden supplied a selection of Lakes furniture and Dek Drinking Fountains to support the creation of a welcoming, community-focused outdoor environment. The Lakes picnic setting was adapted to meet DDA requirements by extending the table slats, ensuring comfortable wheelchair access and reinforcing the client’s commitment to inclusive design.

With clean lines and a contemporary profile, the furniture ties seamlessly into the surrounding architecture while offering durable, user-friendly amenities for residents and visitors. The combination of benches, tables, bin enclosures and drinking fountains helps activate the space, encouraging everyday use and fostering a sense of connection within the Brookhaven community.

Opportunities

This project allowed Street + Garden to contribute to a precinct with a strong emphasis on accessibility, community building and thoughtful public amenity. The DDA refinement of the Lakes picnic setting demonstrates the adaptability of our product families and our ability to respond to specific site needs.
