Which Type of Wooden is Best for Underfloor Heating

‘We love starting our selections with the flooring! And when it comes to Woodcut’s engineered timber, there is so many options, that if can feel a little overwhelming.

1. We love to start with the ‘pattern of the board’ – do you want a gorgeous extra wide board, have you visions of herringbone or chevron, or perhaps a more traditional timber board is your preference?
2. Decide if you like an engineered timber board that is more consistent in colour or one that has more texture and knots – these can have a more rustic finish to them.
3. The final decision is the colour, there is no doubting there are so many beautiful colours! We would recommend building up your entire material board and check it in the space where it will be installed if possible. Make sure you look at the colour in natural light and after dark, as colours can change throughout the day!
