Blinds, Shutters and Screens

Shutters Shutters are often regarded as a premium window covering, originally used across Europe as well as America. Shutters give you the ability to control the amount and direction of sunlight in your home with rotatable louvres.

Window Screens Window screens, also known as fly screens or flywire, are made to protect the window's opening. Fibreglass, metal or wire is stretched into frames made of metal, aluminium or wood.

Strip Curtains Strip curtains are flexible pieces of plastic that are hung in a doorway. They serve as a second barrier to the door.

Blinds

Blinds are available both outdoors and indoors. The majority of blinds have slats that can be controlled by a pull cord for privacy. There are different types of blinds available in the market:

Roller Blinds: Roller blinds are a kind of fabric blind attached to a roller which is secured near the top of the window. With two rollers, one fabric layer can reduce glare when the sun is too bright, and the other can operate as a blackout layer for the nighttime.

Venetian Blinds: Venetian blinds regulate the amount and the direction of light that enters the space. The adjustable horizontal slats also provide privacy. Venetian blinds today are made out of various materials including plastic, wood and even metal. They’re also among the most well-known methods of blinding windows, mostly because they’re affordable and easy to install.

Panel Blinds: Panel blinds are an alternative to traditional vertical blinds. They feature large fabric panels that glide effortlessly across a window on a subtle headrail. The size of the blinds makes them a perfect fit for large-sized windows and bifold doors.

Vertical Blinds: Vertical blinds are similar to venetian blinds in style. They are easy to use with two cords at the side that allows the vanes to slide across the headrail. The individual vanes are then held in place with links at the bottom. As opposed to venetian blinds, the fabric of vertical blinds is much thinner, which allows for greater overlap. They come in blackout or dim-out styles.

Outdoor Blinds: Outdoor blinds are designed to be installed on the outside of the building in order to block heat from directly coming in contact with windows. Therefore, external blinds can keep warm air out and cool air inside.

Pleated Blinds: Pleated blinds can operate horizontally, vertically or laterally. They can also be placed top down or bottom up, which means you can attach them on either the upper part of your windows or at the bottom. They can be opened and closed without cords or chains.
