What is the difference between Cooling and Refrigeration?

Refrigeration and Cooling Systems work by compressing air, chemicals, or other substances to create a cool environment within an area. This process is further enhanced by the use of specialised materials, such as insulation and heat exchangers, to retain more cold air while dissipating heat at a faster rate.

How does Refrigeration work?

The Refrigeration process works by using a coolant, typically an F gas, which is forced from liquid to gas in order to create the cooling effect within the chill room or fridge. The compressor then raises the temperature and pressure of the gas, converting it back into a liquid state so it can cycle through again, removing heat from the immediate area and lowering temperatures.

How does the Cooling System work?

Cooling Systems like air conditioners are designed to provide a more comfortable and pleasant atmosphere in the room by using a cooling agent within the unit, as well as ductwork and fans to move cool or hot air away from the unit. This allows for temperature regulation in a larger area, as well as reducing moisture levels and heat, which can make any living environment more comfortable during warmer weather.
