Cooling & Refrigeration
What is the difference between Cooling and Refrigeration?
Refrigeration and Cooling Systems work by compressing air, chemicals, or other substances to create a cool environment within an area. This process is further enhanced by the use of specialised materials, such as insulation and heat exchangers, to retain more cold air while dissipating heat at a faster rate.
How does Refrigeration work?
The Refrigeration process works by using a coolant, typically an F gas, which is forced from liquid to gas in order to create the cooling effect within the chill room or fridge. The compressor then raises the temperature and pressure of the gas, converting it back into a liquid state so it can cycle through again, removing heat from the immediate area and lowering temperatures.
How does the Cooling System work?
Cooling Systems like air conditioners are designed to provide a more comfortable and pleasant atmosphere in the room by using a cooling agent within the unit, as well as ductwork and fans to move cool or hot air away from the unit. This allows for temperature regulation in a larger area, as well as reducing moisture levels and heat, which can make any living environment more comfortable during warmer weather.
Commercial Refrigerators: Commercial Refrigeration is a type of cold storage equipment used in a variety of commercial settings, such as supermarkets, convenience stores, grocery stores and specialty food shops. These units are typically reach-in refrigerators and freezers which enable businesses to store food items at safe, low temperatures for extended periods of time.
Evaporative Coolers: Evaporative Coolers, or sSwamp Coolers, are an energy-efficient and economical option for controlling the climate in a space. This type of cooling system works by distributing evaporated water into the air, allowing it to absorb heat from the room while also adding additional humidity to create a more comfortable atmosphere.
Air Purifiers: Air Purifiers are a great way to help improve the air quality in any home or indoor environment, by effectively filtering out and removing harmful pollutants such as dust, pollen, smoke and other airborne contaminants. They are especially beneficial for people with allergies or asthma, as the reduction of such particles can significantly reduce symptoms and provide relief from breathing difficulties.
Commercial Air Purifiers: A Commercial Air Purifier has been specially designed to deliver pure and clean air for commercial spaces. In contrast to domestic air purifiers, commercial air purification systems generally contain a mixture of filters, and are more efficient in air flow rates over a certain period.
