44 Bay View Terrace saw the refurbishment and fit out of a building on Claremont’s historic shopping avenue and one fondly remembered by locals as the old Claremont Drapers. Working to conserve a heritage-listed 1910 Federation façade, our design endeavoured to preserve the central entrance and bay windows of the era. The boutique’s entrance sees black tiling wrapping up and over the window plinths along with new full height glazing, allowing natural light deep within the space. Inside simple lines of lighting accentuate the original pressed tin ceiling.
The new extension on the 2016 fit out introduced dramatic arches, portals that compress and release the occupant through the shopping space.
Adam heaths exquisite collection of designer clothing, jewellery and accessories.
