Breakfast Creek Tavern Rum Bar

2 Kingsford Smith Dr, Albion

Capitalising on and adding to the old world charm, warmth and feel of the existing substation bar at the Breakfast Creek Hotel was a key tool in imbuing the new ‘rum bar’ concept with a classic aesthetic entirely in keeping with its purpose.

The highly tactile nature of the existing brickwork and timber of the old substation were juxtaposed with the sleek lines of the new furniture, wall linings and back of bar joinery, whilst being softened and blended via a soft palette material selection. The result is a spatial experience designed to elevate the senses and increase the enjoyment of the unique bar offering.
