PDT Architects, Hassell and Silver Thomas Hanley formed a consortium to pioneer one of the most significant and exciting projects in the Queensland Government’s Health Capital Works program. The $1.76 billion project consists of a 750-bed medical facility with services including specialist cancer and cardiac services, neurosciences, trauma and neonatal intensive care. GCUH has seven main buildings, with a total floor space of approximately 170,000m2 (excl. car parks).
