The Northshore Riverside Café and the surrounding parklands have been transformed from an industrial area into a popular destination forming part of the significant urban renewal of North Shore Hamilton.
PDT Architects, in collaboration with Vivo and Urban Art Projects, designed the award-winning Hamilton Riverside Café to have a strong connection to the site’s unique seaport history. With the use of materials as copper timber, aluminium and glass, the project promotes a subtle maritime flavour and provides the local community and visitors with a beautiful and energising place.
