Studio City, Macau's new Hollywood-themed resort, is one of the most diversified entertainment complexes in the world. The project comprised lower ground level, four podium levels, and two 37 to 41-storey hotel towers providing about 1,600 hotel rooms. With a site area of 130,789 square metres and gross floor area of 425,000 square metres, it is the largest project we have ever undertaken in Macau. Although scheduled for completion in 31 months – a challenging target in terms of size and resources – it was completed ahead of schedule, in just 28 months.
Facilities include:
- Golden Reel - Looming 130 metres above ground, the world's highest figure-8 Ferris wheel is suspended between the two hotel towers.
- Studio City Event Center – A total of 11,000 square metres of floor space, spread out over three levels, with seating for 5,000.
- Batman Dark Flight – The world's first 4D simulation ride based on the “Batman” intellectual property franchise, occupying 700 square metres of floor area, with 72 seats.
