Kunming Flagship Store

Kunming, China

IDA was commissioned to design the iconic flagship store in Kunming in 2015. With most part of the store buried underground, the main feature of the store is its iconic entrance above ground. The entrance is a free-standing cylindrical pavilion with 20-meter diameter canopy, supported only by glass panels, parts of which can be used as door panels. The project was completed in 2017.
