Project Summary
The extension works' objective was to upgrade the entertainment facilities for residents to enjoy and also enhance its attractiveness as a tourist spot for visitors. It also serves as a pedestrian transport hub connecting the surrounding residential estates, MTR and public transport interchange with bridges and an all-day walkway.
The major scope of this project consisted of modification of the existing public lorry park into a 5-storey commercial complex (including a mezzanine floor). The works included the construction of superstructure works with landscape desk, implementation of Temporary Traffic Arrange (TTA) to maintain Public Transport Interchange (PTI) operation. The majority of the structural with A&A works and internal and external works would take 25 months to complete.
