The design elaborates the “seamless connection” urban planning concept and it can be illustrated in 3 aspects, they are the living culture, leisure culture and the green culture.
Living culture: the design aims to weave different public and private functions together so that people will enjoy the unique habitation, working and retail environment in the urban context.
Leisure culture: the design makes use of the harbourfront setting to create site-specific architecture and streetscape, which will portrait the relaxing yet energetic ambiance of the district.
Green culture: the overall planning reflects a thorough consideration and utilization of natural resources such as the views, daylight and ventilation. Together with other environmental friendly installations, the whole district will become a “green community” promoting high environmental awareness.
The proposed development will ultimately generate a sustainable, lively and humane living, working and leisure environments and energize the whole Prince Bay in the long run.
