Xiasha Community is located at the southwest end of Futian, adjacent to Shangsha Village in the east, Furong Road and Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway to the west and south, overlooking Shenzhen Bay and Mangrove Reserve in the south, and Binhe Road in the north, separated from Chegongmiao Industrial Zone. The road faces each other. It is the first ecological demonstration community in Guangdong Province and one of the villages in Shenzhen with the closest connection to marine culture. It has obvious location advantages, rich historical accumulation, unique resource conditions and superior spatial conditions. Under the opportunity of comprehensively carrying out the property transformation of urban villages in Futian District, Xiasha hopes to fundamentally solve the problems of population management, social security, production safety, and community construction in urban villages.
The planned area of this time is 55.3 hectares . The transformation model is guided by the government, joint-stock companies and developers cooperate to develop, the overall environment is comprehensively renovated, and local demolition and reconstruction are carried out . .
